Welcome to the MidEastern Pennsylvania Chapter of AORN Website. With our roots firmly planted in the Lehigh Valley, we are an Intermediate sized Chapter at approximately 184 members strong! Of these members, 102 are certified in Perioperative Nursing and 4 are certified in RN First Assisting. Our Chapter was formed July 25, 1969. Our Chapter meets 3 times per year, October, January & May, and ends with an installation of officers dinner meeting in June. We provide opportunities to obtain continuing education credits while networking with our peers. Our average meeting attendance is 30-35 members. each meeting is hosted by one of our participating hospitals: Lehigh Valley Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital, Warren Hospital and the Fairgrounds Surgical Center with all meetings being held at St. Luke's Allentown Medical Office Building. Guests are welcome! Effective with the October 13, 2009 meeting, there is a nominal $5.00 per educational session for non-members. We invite you stay and join us in our Business meeting to learn more about our Chapter!
